Ok, let’s just get this outta the way…if somethings going to fail, it will:
A) Be when Marty’s driving?
B) Be when we are a long way from home?
C) Dump all the oil on the ground?
D) All of the above.
The VBOX worked fine by the way, I didn’t fuck that up, thanks for asking. Seriously tho, once we limped home (OK – The answer is D, shutup already!! -MJ) …we worked out the first failure was the (cast) stock oil filter mount just being too weak and breaking, the second failure on this test drive day was simply due to us using the wrong sized rubber gasket on the new billet oil line adapter plate. Simple fix, let’s get to the track!!
