We felt that as pretty as our first dash panel attempt was, we need it to be closer and angled towards the to driver, once we designed how it would mount and hinge open to access the back it was a pretty simple and tidy fabrication.
Part of removing all the interior and rear wiring lead us to review all the relay boxes in the engine bay as well. We managed to replace the entire relay set in there enabling us to centralize all the wiring fuses, gauges and switches to the cabin near the ECU.
