Trackday #2 (1’48”.00)

Now at the long track of Winton (National Circuit) we can establish what should be out baseline for future modifications. Since we were last here 7 months ago, we’ve added a much needed race seat and 6 point harness. Additionally we’ve removed the coil pack cover plate that sat between the rocker covers, and found a bunch more stuff to remove around the car (further various plastics and unnecessary bolt on bits) and probably the most notable performance change will come from the HICAS lock bar to secure the rear toe by eliminating the stock active rear wheel steering system.

The best we could manage over the sound of squealing crappy street tyres was a 1:48 flat. Despite running cold pressures at 32psi, they still crept up to 38 once hot.
The HICAS lock bar was making a noticeable difference to the handling eliminating a lot of the mid corner under steer.
