It’s not what you take away, it’s what you don’t put back that matters…

At some point recently our philosophy has subtly shifted from “let’s remove what we don’t need” – to “let’s only keep what we know we must have”.

Once the sound deadening was removed it was all-too easy to continue stripping the interior once again to a bare shell. It was obvious that there was still way too much wiring in the car.

I mean really what wiring do we need running to the back of the car? Battery, fuel, brake/tail/indicator – why do we have like 85 wires going south of the driver?

Doors? – they should have like 1 wire for the windows, and eventually none!

Lets move the battery to the cabin, build a box for it and while we are at it let’s make our own fuse panel for the whole lot… oh and let’s put the ACC / IGN / START Panel above the rear view mirror to free up more dash space too.

Just check out how much more crap we’ve cut out of an already well-stripped electrical system!
