We weren’t happy with a few things to do with the stock steering column. Firstly, there was just too much extra weight in the height adjustment mechanism, then we also wanted the steering slightly higher and of course a little closer to use. Eventually we will use a quick-release boss kit for our the wheel to get it nice and close, but for now, a free fix for the weight and height issues was to measure up and fabricate some brackets to replace the adjuster housing.
